    The most common way to reach Orheiul Vechi from Chisinau is by marshrutka (minibus). Head to the Central Bus Station in Chisinau, located behind the Piata Centrala market. Look for marshrutkas heading to Trebujeni or Butuceni. The journey takes approximately one hour and costs around 46 MDL. If you take a marshrutka to Trebujeni, you'll need to walk about 30 minutes to reach the main Orheiul Vechi complex. If you take a marshrutka to Butuceni, the walk is shorter, around 10 minutes. The marshrutkas to Butuceni do not cross Trebujeni and vice versa.

  • Taxi/Ride-share

    Taxis and ride-sharing services are available in Chisinau and can take you directly to Orheiul Vechi. The cost is approximately 400-600 MDL. The journey takes around 45-50 minutes. Note that while this is the most convenient option, it is also the most expensive. Negotiate the price beforehand or ensure the meter is running to avoid any surprises.
