Start at the La Rousse area. Head south on Avenue d'Italie towards Boulevard du Larvotto. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Boulevard des Moulins. Turn left onto Boulevard des Moulins and continue for another 10 minutes. You will eventually arrive at Place Massena. From there, take the tram Line 1 towards 'Hôpital Pasteur' and get off at 'Jean Médecin' station. Walk for about 5 minutes towards Rue d'Italie, where the Basilique Notre-Dame de l’Assomption is located at number 2.
Public Transport
Begin at the nearest bus stop in La Rousse. Take Bus Line 100 towards Nice. This bus will take you directly to Nice in about 30 minutes. When you arrive at the 'Nice Riquier' stop, transfer to Tram Line 1 at the 'Riquier' tram station. Ride the tram towards 'Hôpital Pasteur' and disembark at the 'Jean Médecin' stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes towards Rue d'Italie to find the Basilique Notre-Dame de l’Assomption.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the rental stations in La Rousse. Start by heading towards Avenue d'Italie and cycle towards the coastline. Follow the bike path along the promenade for about 15 minutes until you reach the Port of Nice. From there, continue on the bike path along Quai des États-Unis. After approximately 10 minutes, turn left onto Rue d'Italie, and you'll find the Basilique Notre-Dame de l’Assomption at number 2.
