Getting There

    To reach Baring Falls on foot, start at the St. Mary Visitor Center. From the visitor center, head south on the St. Mary Lake Trail. This trail is well-marked and offers stunning views of St. Mary Lake. Continue on the trail for approximately 3.5 miles until you reach the junction with the Baring Falls Trail. Turn left onto the Baring Falls Trail. Follow this trail for about 0.5 miles, which will lead you directly to Baring Falls. Be sure to take your time and enjoy the scenic views along the way.

    If you are starting from the Many Glacier area, take the Grinnell Lake Trail starting from the Many Glacier Hotel.
