Getting There

  • Bus

    If you are starting from the Old Faithful area, take the Yellowstone National Park shuttle bus heading towards the West Entrance. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the West Yellowstone Visitor Center stop. From there, walk west on Firehole Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach West Yellowstone Heritage Park, which is located at 179-199 Firehole Ave.

  • Bicycle

    Starting from the Madison Junction area, you can bike along the designated bike paths towards the West Entrance. Follow the signs for the bike route that leads you to West Yellowstone. Upon reaching West Yellowstone, continue on Firehole Avenue until you find West Yellowstone Heritage Park at 179-199 Firehole Ave. The bike ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.

    If you are near the Nez Perce Creek area, you can walk towards West Yellowstone. Start by heading south on the walking trail that leads out of the park towards the West Entrance.
