Getting There

Start your journey at the main square in Kotor, known as Trg od Oružja. From there, head towards the northern exit of the square, passing by the Church of St. Nicholas on your right. Continue straight along the street, which will lead you out of the old town area and towards the waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront promenade, turn left and walk along the waterfront until you reach the entrance of the Old Town of Kotor. Continue walking along the waterfront until you see the path leading up towards the Ladder of Kotor, marked by a sign. The climb will begin from there, and you will follow the winding stone steps up the mountain. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the ascent can be steep and rocky.
