From the Old Town of Kotor, head towards the Sea Gate (Gradska Porta) at the northern end of the town. Once you exit the gate, turn left on the main road, and follow it until you reach the foot of the hill where St. Ivan Fortress is located. Look for signs indicating the trail to the fortress. The path begins with a steep climb up a series of stone steps and winding paths. Continue on this path, and you'll pass by several historical ruins along the way.
