Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Chefchaouen. Head east on Avenue Hassan II, then take the first left onto Rue Targui. Continue on this road which will merge into Route de Akchour. Follow the signs for Akchour and continue on this road until you reach the parking area near the trailhead for قمة جبل البرج. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to have cash on hand for parking fees, which typically range from 10-20 MAD.

Public Transportation
To reach قمة جبل البرج using public transportation, start at the main bus station in Chefchaouen. Look for shared taxis (known as 'grand taxis') heading towards Akchour. The shared taxi ride will take about 30 minutes and should cost around 30-50 MAD per person. Once you arrive at the Akchour village, ask for directions to the starting point of the hiking trail to قمة جبل البرج, which is well-marked. From the village, it’s a short walk (about 15 minutes) to the trailhead.

After reaching the trailhead, you will need to hike approximately 2 hours to reach قمة جبل البرج. The trail is moderately challenging, so be sure to wear suitable hiking shoes and bring water and snacks. The views along the way are spectacular, so take your time to enjoy the scenery. There is no entrance fee for the hiking area.
