Walking
From the Rabat Ville train station, exit the station and head southwest on Avenue Hassan II. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenue Mohammed V. Turn left onto Avenue Mohammed V and walk for another 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for signs that indicate directions to Mdina. After crossing the bridge, continue until you reach the Mdina Gate, which will be on your right.
Bus
From the Rabat Ville train station, locate the bus stop just outside the station. Take bus number 14 towards Mdina. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Mdina bus stop, which is the last stop on the route. Once you exit the bus, walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes until you reach the Mdina Gate.
Taxi
You can catch a taxi from any point in Rabat. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Mdina Gate. The ride will take about 20 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure you agree on a fare before starting your journey, as taxis may not always use a meter.
