If you are in downtown Grand Island, start at the Hall County Courthouse, located at 121 S Pine St. Head south on Pine St toward W 2nd St. Continue walking straight until you reach W 2nd St, then turn right. Walk along W 2nd St until you reach the intersection with Diers Ave. Turn left onto Diers Ave and continue walking straight. After about 1 mile, you will see a sign directing you to the Grand Island Historical Marker, which is located on the outskirts of Doniphan. Keep walking for approximately 0.5 miles, and the marker will be on your right near the intersection with NE-34.
