Trekking
From Gokyo Lakes, you will need to trek back to the main trail leading to Everest Base Camp. Start by heading south from Gokyo towards the Gokyo Valley. Follow the path alongside the Dudh Pokhari Lake and continue until you reach the junction at the end of the lake. Here, take the trail that leads to the Thokla Pass. The trek will take approximately 3-4 hours, covering a distance of about 8 km. Once you reach Thokla, you will see a signpost indicating the direction to Everest Base Camp.

From Thokla, continue your trek towards Lobuche, which is about another hour away. Lobuche is the last major settlement before reaching Everest Base Camp, and you can stop here for a break.
