Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Gosaikunda to Harati Ajima Temple, head south on the main road until you reach the junction at Dhunche. From there, take the road towards Kathmandu. After approximately 2 hours of driving, you will reach the Swayambhu area of Kathmandu. Look for the signs directing you to Swayambhunath Stupa, as Harati Ajima Temple is located nearby. Park your car in one of the nearby parking areas and walk towards the temple, which is situated at the coordinates 27.7150438, 85.2902356.

• Public Transportation

  To use public transportation, start by taking a local bus or jeep from Gosaikunda to Dhunche. The fare is usually around NPR 200-300. Once you arrive in Dhunche, find a bus heading to Kathmandu. The ride will take about 4-5 hours and cost approximately NPR 500-700. Upon reaching Kathmandu, disembark at the Ratna Park bus station. From there, hire a taxi or take a local bus to Swayambhu. Inform the driver to drop you off near the Swayambhunath Stupa; Harati Ajima Temple is a short walk from there.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Swayambhu area, you can reach Harati Ajima Temple on foot. From Swayambhunath Stupa, head southeast on the main path, passing through the local shops and cafes. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you come across a small side road on your left. The temple is located at the end of this road, marked by a small sign.
