Car
If you're traveling by car, you can start your journey from Namche Bazaar. Drive towards the Everest Base Camp Trekking Route, following the signs to Tengboche Monastery. The drive will take you through beautiful mountain scenery. Once you reach the Tyangboche village, find the parking area nearby. Please note that the road can be narrow and winding, so drive cautiously. There may be a parking fee of around 300 NPR.
Public Transportation (Bus/Jeep)
From Namche Bazaar, you can take a local bus or shared jeep towards Tengboche. Public transport can be found near the main square in Namche. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, and the fare is around 100 NPR per person. Disembark at the Tyangboche stop, and follow the signs that lead you to the monastery, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous, you can hike from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche Monastery. The trek is about 10 kilometers and will take around 4-5 hours. Follow the well-marked trekking paths through beautiful forests and stunning views of the mountains. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the hike. Once you reach Tengboche, you will see the monastery perched on a hilltop, welcoming you with its majestic presence.
