Getting There

  • Walking

    From Kathmandu Durbar Square, head east on Bhaktapur Durbar Square Road. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the Bagh Bhairab Temple on your left. Turn right at this intersection and continue straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach the main road. Keep walking straight until you reach the Naxal area, where you will see signs pointing towards Shree Naxal Bhagawati Temple. The temple is located on Naxal Road, just off the main road.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Thamel, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards Ratnapark. Once you reach Ratnapark, transfer to a local bus going to Naxal. Inform the driver that you want to go to Shree Naxal Bhagawati Temple. After about 20 minutes, get off when you reach Naxal and walk for a few minutes until you see the temple on your right.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from a shop in Thamel. Start by cycling towards the east on Tridevi Marg and then take a left onto the Ring Road. Continue straight for about 2 km until you see a sign for Naxal.
