Getting There

If you are starting from Thamel, head east on the main road (Tridevi Marg) until you reach the intersection with the ring road. Turn left onto the ring road and walk straight for about 15-20 minutes. You will pass several shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for a sign pointing towards Chabahil; follow this path. After walking for roughly 10 more minutes, you will arrive at the Charumati Stupa, which will be on your right.

From Thamel, walk to the nearest bus stop on the ring road. Look for a bus heading towards Bhaktapur or Chabahil. The bus fare is inexpensive, typically around 20-30 NPR. Once on the bus, request the driver to drop you off at Chabahil. The Charumati Stupa is a short 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop. Head east from the bus stop, and you will see the stupa ahead.
