Walking
If you are starting from Thamel, head southwest on the main street (Tridevi Marg) until you reach the intersection with Chhetrapati Street. Turn left onto Chhetrapati Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Kamaladi Road. Turn right onto Kamaladi Road, and then take a left onto Bhaktapur Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you see the signs for Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). Follow the signs uphill, and after about 15 minutes, you will arrive at Dorje, located near Swayambhu.

If you are near the Kathmandu Durbar Square, exit the square and head west towards Basantapur. Keep walking along the main road (Basantapur Durbar Square Road) until you reach the intersection with Bhaktapur Road. Turn right and continue straight until you arrive at Swayambhu. Once you reach the Swayambhunath Stupa, Dorje is located nearby. Follow the signs, and it should take around 20-25 minutes from the square.

From the Boudhanath Stupa area, take a taxi or walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a local bus heading towards Swayambhu. Get off at the Swayambhu bus stop, which is well-marked. From there, walk uphill towards the Swayambhunath Stupa. After visiting the stupa, look for Dorje, which is in close proximity. The walking distance from the bus stop is approximately 10 minutes.
