Getting There

Walking
Start at the main entrance of Lumbini Garden, which is a popular tourist destination. From the entrance, head straight towards the main pathway that leads you to the Maya Devi Temple. Walk past the temple and follow the path that continues towards the east side of the garden. Keep walking until you reach the large white stupa, known as the World Peace Pagoda. From here, you can see a sign pointing towards Bhalu Pahad. Continue along the path that leads through the garden towards the hills in the distance. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the path on the left which leads uphill towards Bhalu Pahad. As you ascend, you will enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The walk may take around 30-40 minutes depending on your pace, and you should look for signs indicating the View Point. Once you reach the viewpoint, you will be rewarded with a panoramic view of Lumbini and the surrounding hills.
