If you are in the city center of Amersfoort, start by heading towards the main train station, Amersfoort Centraal. From there, exit the station and head southeast towards the bus station. Next, take bus line 7 or 8 towards Amersfoort, and get off at the 'Kattenbroek' stop. Once off the bus, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the street 'Utrechtseweg'. Turn right and keep walking for about 10 minutes. You will see the Statue of Joost van den Vondel on your left, located in a small park near the street.

Start at Amersfoort Centraal station. Take train IC (InterCity) towards Amsterdam. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Amsterdam Zuid station. From there, walk towards the exit and head to the tram stop. Take tram line 5 in the direction of 'Zuid' and get off at 'Van der Boechorststraat'. From this tram stop, walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Statue of Joost van den Vondel, located at 1071 AA Amsterdam.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Amersfoort. Start cycling towards the main road 'Utrechtseweg' and follow it towards the direction of Amsterdam. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to follow the bike lanes and traffic rules. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, continue cycling until you reach the area of 'Amsterdam-Zuid', where you will find the Statue of Joost van den Vondel at 1071 AA Amsterdam.
