Travel Guide to Agnieten Chapel

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Amsterdam, make your way to Dam Square. From Dam Square, head southeast on the Damstraat towards the Rokin. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Kalverstraat. Turn right onto Kalverstraat and walk until you reach the Muntplein. From Muntplein, take the first left onto the Reguliersbreestraat and continue walking. This street will lead you to the Amstel River. Once you reach the river, cross the bridge and continue straight onto the Amstelstraat. You will eventually reach the intersection with the Oudezijds Voorburgwal. Turn right on Oudezijds Voorburgwal and walk along the river for a few minutes. Agnieten Chapel will be on your left at Oudezijds Voorburgwal 229.

• Tram

  If you prefer to use public transport, you can take Tram line 4, 14, or 24 from any central tram stop. Board the tram and disembark at the 'Rembrandtplein' stop. From there, walk towards the Amstel River. Cross the river via the bridge and then turn right on the Amstelstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Oudezijds Voorburgwal, then turn right and walk for a few minutes. Agnieten Chapel will be located at Oudezijds Voorburgwal 229 on your left.

• Bicycle

  If you are renting a bicycle, head towards the Amstel River from wherever you are. Once you reach the river, follow the cycling path along the river until you reach the intersection with the Oudezijds Voorburgwal. Turn left onto Oudezijds Voorburgwal and continue cycling until you reach Agnieten Chapel at number 229, which will be on your left.
