Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from Amsterdam Centraal Station, exit the station and head southeast towards the Prins Hendrikkade. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, passing the National Maritime Museum on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Nieuwe Keizersgracht. Turn left onto Nieuwe Keizersgracht and walk for about 5 minutes. The monument is located at Nieuwe Keizersgracht 1, right beside the water.

    From Amsterdam Centraal Station, board tram 14 towards Zeeburg and get off at the 'Mr. Visserplein' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the water and turn right onto the Nieuwe Keizersgracht. Walk about 5 minutes along the canal, and you will find De Schaduwkade, monument at Nieuwe Keizersgracht 1.
