From Zaanse Schans, get on the A8 highway towards Amsterdam. Follow the signs for A10 and merge onto A10. Take exit 3 towards Zeeburg and continue on S112. Follow signs for Centrum and then take the exit onto Weesperstraat. Continue straight until you reach Blauwbrug in Amsterdam. Note that parking is not available directly at Blauwbrug, so consider using a nearby parking garage such as 'Q-Park Amsterdam' or 'ParkBee' which may incur a fee of around €4-€5 per hour.

From Zaanse Schans, walk to the Zaandijk Zaanse Schans train station (approximately a 15-minute walk). Take a train towards Amsterdam Central Station (Trains typically run every 15 minutes). Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the east via Prins Hendrikkade. Continue walking until you reach Blauwbrug. This journey may take approximately 30-40 minutes in total. Ensure you have an OV-chipkaart for the train, which costs around €1 for the card itself, and the train fare is approximately €5.
