Walking
If you are near the city center, head towards the Dam Square. From Dam Square, walk south on Damstraat which becomes Rokin after a few blocks. Continue walking until you reach the Muntplein. From Muntplein, take a left onto the Vijzelgracht and follow it until you see the Singelgracht canal on your right. The canal runs parallel to the Vijzelgracht, so you can simply walk along its banks.

Find the nearest tram stop. If you are in the city center, you can take tram line 4, 9, or 14 from the Central Station. Get off at the stop 'Zuid' and walk towards the Singelgracht by heading east. Follow the signs towards the canal, which is just a short 5-minute walk from the tram station.

Biking in Amsterdam is a great way to see the city! Rent a bike from one of the many rental shops. Start by heading south towards the Amstel River. Once there, ride along the river until you reach the intersection with the Singelgracht. Turn left at the intersection and follow the canal's path.
