    If you are driving from Egmond aan Zee, take the N9 road towards Alkmaar. Follow the N9 for about 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the A9 highway. Merge onto the A9 towards Amsterdam. Continue on the A9 for approximately 30 kilometers, then take exit 1 towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Follow the signs for Centrum and continue onto the S100 road. After about 2 kilometers, turn right onto Haarlemmerplein. The Haarlemmerpoort will be on your left at Haarlemmerplein 50.

    To reach Haarlemmerpoort using public transport, start at the Egmond aan Zee bus station. Take bus line 166 towards Alkmaar. Get off at the Alkmaar Station stop. From there, transfer to train line Intercity towards Amsterdam Centraal. After approximately 40 minutes, disembark at Amsterdam Centraal Station. Once at the station, exit and walk towards the west along Damrak towards the Dam Square. From Dam Square, walk north to the Haarlemmerstraat, then take a left to reach Haarlemmerplein. The Haarlemmerpoort will be located at Haarlemmerplein 50.
