If you are in Utrecht, start by taking the train from Utrecht Centraal Station to Leiden Centraal Station. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Leiden Centraal, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Take bus number 5 or 6 towards 'Leiden, Rapenburg'. The bus journey will take about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Leiden, Rapenburg' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the National Museum of Antiquities. Head towards Rapenburg and walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the museum at Rapenburg 28.

If you're already in the city center of Leiden, make your way to the 'Breestraat'. From there, head south towards the 'Oude Singel' canal. Turn left onto the canal and continue walking until you reach the 'Rapenburg' street. The National Museum of Antiquities is located on this street at number 28. The walk should take about 15 minutes.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Utrecht. Once you have your bike, take the most direct route towards Leiden via the N11 road. The distance is around 35 kilometers, and it takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to cycle. When you reach Leiden, follow the signs to the city center and then to Rapenburg, where the museum is located at number 28.
