Car
If you are traveling by car from Zaanse Schans, start by exiting the Zaanse Schans parking area and head southeast on Zaanse Schans road (Zaanse Schansweg) toward the N8. Merge onto the N8 and continue for about 5 kilometers. Take the exit toward Amsterdam and get on the A10 highway towards Amsterdam. Stay on the A10 for approximately 5 kilometers. Take exit S113 toward Amsterdam-Oost, and continue on S113 for about 3 kilometers. Follow signs for Centrum and then look for signs towards Centrumeiland. There is parking available near the island.
