Getting There

  • Car

    From Zaanstreek, head south on the A8 motorway towards Amsterdam. Merge onto the A10 ring road and follow the signs for A1 (Amersfoort) / A2 (Utrecht). Take exit 15 towards IJburg and continue on S114. Follow the signs for IJburg, and after approximately 10 km, you will arrive at 1087 JD Amsterdam. Parking is available in designated areas, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

  • Public Transportation

    From Zaanstreek, take a train from Zaandam station to Amsterdam Centraal. Once at Amsterdam Centraal, transfer to tram line 26 towards IJburg. The tram ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'IJburg' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the main areas of IJburg. Be sure to check the GVB website for ticket prices and schedules, as a single ticket will cost approximately €3.20.
