Car
From Zaanse Schans, head south on the N8 road towards Amsterdam. Follow signs for A10 and merge onto the A10 ring road. Take exit 10 toward Amsterdam-Centrum/Zeeburg and continue onto the S114. Follow the S114, which will turn into the Parnassusweg. Take a left onto the Amstel and continue until you reach Java-eiland. Look for parking options nearby as street parking may have restrictions.

Public Transportation
From Zaanse Schans, take bus number 391 towards Zaandam. Get off at the Zaandam train station. From there, take a train to Amsterdam Central Station (approximately 17 minutes). Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, transfer to Metro line 52 (North-South line) towards Noord. Get off at the station 'Zuid' and transfer to Tram 26 towards IJburg. Get off at the stop 'Java-eiland' which is a short walk from your destination.
