Public Bus
To reach Lake Tahoe - Nevada State Park from Carson City, take the Carson City public bus route 19 towards Incline Village. The bus departs from the Carson City Transit Center located at 1 E Musser St, Carson City. Make sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Incline Village bus stop, it is about a 15-minute walk to the park. Head north on NV-28, following the signs to Lake Tahoe - Nevada State Park.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Carson City. Start at the Nevada State Capitol at 101 N Carson St, and head north on Carson St toward E Musser St. Turn right onto E Musser St and continue onto NV-395. Follow the bike path along the highway until you reach NV-28. Turn left onto NV-28 and continue for about 12 miles. The ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations.

Walking
Walking to Lake Tahoe - Nevada State Park is quite a long journey, but it can be a pleasant hike. Starting from the center of Carson City, head north on Carson St until you reach the intersection with US-395. Follow US-395 north for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with NV-28. Turn left onto NV-28 and continue for another 2 miles to reach the park. This walk will take several hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
