Car
If you're driving to Rubicon Trailhead North from South Lake Tahoe, begin on US-50 E. Continue on US-50 E for about 5 miles. Take the exit toward CA-89 S, and merge onto CA-89 S. After about 7 miles, you will reach a sign for Rubicon Trailhead North on your right. Turn onto Unnamed Road and follow it to the parking area at the trailhead.
Public Transportation
To reach Rubicon Trailhead North using public transportation, take the Blue Go bus service from South Lake Tahoe. Board the bus at any of the major stops in the city and ride until you reach the CA-89 & Rubicon Trailhead stop. From there, it's a short walk down Unnamed Road to the trailhead. Ensure to check the bus schedule for the latest times and routes.
