If you are driving to Skunk Harbor, start from South Lake Tahoe. Head east on US-50 and merge onto NV-207 (Kingsbury Grade). Continue on NV-207 for about 7 miles until you reach the junction with US-50. Turn left onto US-50 and continue for a short distance. Look for the signs for Glenbrook and turn left onto Glenbrook Road. Follow this road until you reach the Skunk Harbor parking area. Note that there is a parking fee of approximately $10 per vehicle, so have cash ready.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from South Lake Tahoe to the Stateline Transit Center. From there, catch the Tahoe Transportation District bus heading towards Glenbrook. The bus may take you close to the Glenbrook area, but you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach Skunk Harbor. Ensure to check the current bus schedules, as they can vary by season, and keep in mind that the bus fare is around $2-$3 per ride.
