After passing the intersection with Sawmill Road, take the exit for CA-89 S. Continue on CA-89 S for approximately 1.5 miles. Look for signs indicating Washoe Meadows State Park. Turn left onto Sawmill Road, and the entrance to the park will be on your left. There is no entrance fee for Washoe Meadows State Park.

    From the South Lake Tahoe Transit Center, take the Blue Line bus toward Stateline. Get off at the stop at US-50/Al Tahoe Boulevard. Transfer to the Route 21 bus toward Meyers. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop for Sawmill Road. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to the entrance of Washoe Meadows State Park.
