Getting There

  • Car

    From the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center, head west on W Charleston Blvd (NV-159) for about 13 miles. Continue straight onto NV-157 (Kyle Canyon Road) and follow it for approximately 10 miles until you reach the Mt. Charleston Wilderness area. Look for signs indicating the entrance to the wilderness. There is no entrance fee to access the wilderness, but ensure you have a map or GPS for detailed trails.

  • Public Transportation

    Take the RTC bus route 201 from the Las Vegas Strip to the Downtown area. From there, transfer to the 215 bus toward Summerlin. Get off at the nearest stop to NV-157 (Kyle Canyon Road). Note that public transportation does not go directly to the wilderness area, so you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the last few miles to Mt. Charleston Wilderness. Be prepared for additional costs for taxi or rideshare services.
