Public Bus
To get to Lake Tahoe - Nevada State Park from Sparks, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take the RTC RIDE bus, Line 11 towards South Virginia Street & Longley Lane. Board the bus and ride until you reach the stop at 'Sparks Boulevard & Victorian Avenue'. From there, transfer to the RTC RIDE bus Line 20 towards Incline Village. The bus will take you to the closest stop near the park. Once you get off, walk a short distance to the park entrance on NV-28.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Sparks. Start on Victorian Avenue and head west towards Pyramid Way. Follow Pyramid Way north until you reach the intersection with NV-431 (Mount Rose Highway). Take a left onto NV-431, then continue until you reach NV-28. Turn right onto NV-28, and you will find Lake Tahoe - Nevada State Park along the road.

Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and the weather is nice, you can walk to Lake Tahoe - Nevada State Park. Start at the Sparks Marina Park, and walk west toward the Pyramid Way. Follow Pyramid Way north until you reach NV-431. Turn left on NV-431 and continue walking until you reach NV-28. The park entrance will be on your right. This is a longer route, so ensure you have plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes.
