Walking
If you are starting from the Sparks Marina Park, head south on Marina Drive towards I-80. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto E Prater Way. Continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with N McCarran Blvd. Turn right onto N McCarran Blvd and walk for another 0.5 miles. Keep an eye out for the bus stop at the corner of N McCarran Blvd and E 2nd St. Catch the RTC Bus Route 1 towards Reno and ride for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop on W 2nd St near the cathedral. The Saint Thomas Aquinas Cathedral will be on your right at 310 W 2nd St.

From the Nugget Casino Resort, walk to the RTC Transit Center located at 1001 9th St. Board the RTC Bus Route 1 towards Reno. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes. When you reach the stop at W 2nd St, get off and walk a short distance west. The Saint Thomas Aquinas Cathedral will be right ahead at 310 W 2nd St.

If you have rented a bike, start from the Sparks Rail Trail on E 4th St. Head southwest towards the river trail. Continue along the trail which will merge onto W 2nd St. Follow W 2nd St for about 1.5 miles. The Saint Thomas Aquinas Cathedral will be on your left at 310 W 2nd St. There are bike racks available for parking your bike.
