Car
From any location in Great North Woods, head south on NH-16 S (White Mountain Highway). Follow NH-16 S for approximately 25 miles, passing through the towns of Berlin and Gorham. Continue on NH-16 S until you reach the junction with NH-25 E. Take the exit for NH-25 E towards Tamworth. After about 5 miles on NH-25 E, you will reach the intersection with White Mountain Highway (NH-16). Turn left onto White Mountain Hwy, and after about 1 mile, White Lake State Park will be on your right at 1632 White Mountain Hwy, Tamworth, NH 03886. The park entrance fee is $4 for New Hampshire residents and $8 for non-residents.

While public transportation options are limited in the Great North Woods region, you can take a Concord Coach Lines bus from Concord to North Conway. Once in North Conway, you can use a local taxi service or rideshare (like Uber) to reach White Lake State Park. For the more adventurous, biking is a great way to reach White Lake State Park. If you are staying in the Tamworth area, you can bike directly to the park. From the center of Tamworth, head south on White Mountain Hwy (NH-16) for about 2 miles. The bike ride provides scenic views of the surrounding landscape.
