To reach Fort McClary State Historic Site by car, start on I-95 N from your current location in the Seacoast Region. If you're coming from Portsmouth, take Exit 3 toward Route 1 Bypass S. Follow Route 1 Bypass S and merge onto US-1 S. Continue on US-1 S until you reach Kittery. Turn left onto Pepperrell Rd, and follow it until you arrive at the Fort McClary State Historic Site, located at 43.0824° N, 70.7104° W. There is no entrance fee for the state park.
