From Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, head southeast on Long Hill Rd toward Southern Blvd. Continue on Southern Blvd for approximately 3 miles until you reach the intersection with US-202 S. Take a right onto US-202 S and continue for about 9 miles. Merge onto I-287 N toward Morristown. After approximately 3 miles, take exit 35B toward NJ-24 E. Follow NJ-24 E for about 5 miles. Take the exit for NJ-510 E/Morris Ave. Continue on Morris Ave for about 1 mile, and the Morris County Historical Society will be on your right at 68 Morris Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960.

From Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, you will need to travel to the nearest bus station. The closest station is the Morristown Train Station. You can take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the station. Once at Morristown Train Station, take NJ Transit train on the Morris & Essex Line towards New York Penn Station. Get off at Morristown station. After disembarking, walk for about 15 minutes northwest along Morris Ave (about 0.7 miles) to reach the Morris County Historical Society at 68 Morris Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960.
