If you're traveling by car, head towards Morristown. The Frelinghuysen Arboretum is located at 353 E Hanover Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960. From Route 287, take exit 35 for NJ-124 E toward Morristown. Continue on NJ-124 E, which becomes South Street. As you approach downtown Morristown, look for E Hanover Ave on your left. Turn left onto E Hanover Ave, and the arboretum will be on your right. There is free parking available on-site.

To reach The Frelinghuysen Arboretum via public transportation, you can take NJ Transit. Board the train to Morristown on the Morris & Essex Line. Once you arrive at Morristown Station, exit the station and head to the NJ Transit bus terminal located adjacent to the train station. Take the Morris County Transit bus #873, which stops at the arboretum. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited, especially on weekends.
