  • PATH Train

    From Jersey City, head to the Exchange Place PATH station. Take the PATH train towards World Trade Center. After about 10 minutes, get off at the World Trade Center station. Transfer to the R or Q subway line towards Coney Island - Stillwell Av. Ride for approximately 40 minutes and get off at the Coney Island - Stillwell Av station. From there, it's a short walk to the New York Aquarium.

  • Ferry

    Start at the Paulus Hook Ferry Terminal in Jersey City. Take the NY Waterway ferry to Pier 11/Wall St. in Manhattan. Once you arrive, walk to the Wall St. subway station and take the 2 or 4 train towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Atlantic Av - Barclays Ctr station, then transfer to the Q train towards Coney Island. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Coney Island - Stillwell Av station. The New York Aquarium is a short walk from there.

    Locate the NJ Transit bus stop nearest to you in Jersey City. Take the 119 or 87 bus towards New York. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the terminal at 42nd St. and 8th Ave in Manhattan. From there, switch to the R or Q subway line towards Coney Island - Stillwell Av. After a ride of approximately 40 minutes, get off at the Coney Island - Stillwell Av station. The aquarium is a brief walk from there.
