If you are in Manhattan, you can catch the 1 train at any station going downtown and get off at South Ferry. From there, walk to the Staten Island Ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Staten Island (the ferry ride is free). Once you arrive on Staten Island, exit the terminal and head to the bus stop located outside. Wait for the S52 bus and take it towards 'Hylan Blvd/Seaview Ave.' Get off at the stop 'Hylan Blvd/Clove Rd.' The Alice Austen House is a short walk from there; head northeast on Hylan Blvd and you will see the house on your left at 2 Hylan Blvd.
