Walking
If you are near the Jersey City PATH station at Exchange Place, exit the station and head towards the waterfront. Walk straight along the waterfront walkway, enjoying the views of the Manhattan skyline. Continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will pass several parks and piers. Keep an eye out for the Powerhouse on your left, located at 1600-1640 Adams Street.

From the Liberty State Park area, exit the park and head towards the Liberty Science Center. From there, walk along the waterfront path. After about a 20-minute walk, you will reach the Hudson and Manhattan Railroad Powerhouse, which is located at 1600-1640 Adams Street.

Public Transportation
You can take the NJ Transit Light Rail from the Harborside Terminal. Board the Light Rail heading towards 8th Street. Get off at the Newport station. From Newport, walk straight towards the waterfront, then head south along the waterfront pathway for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the Hudson and Manhattan Railroad Powerhouse at 1600-1640 Adams Street.
