From Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, head northwest on McBride Ave toward Market St. Continue straight onto W Broadway and then turn left onto NJ-20 W. Follow NJ-20 until it becomes I-80 W. Take exit 58A toward NJ-19 N and merge onto NJ-19 N. Take the exit toward Garret Mountain Reservation. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Lambert Castle Valley Rd, and follow the road until you reach Lambert Tower. There is parking available near the tower, though fees may apply.

From Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, walk to the nearest bus stop on Market St. Take NJ Transit bus 751 towards West Paterson. Get off at the stop for Garret Mountain Reservation. From there, you can walk approximately 0.5 miles up Lambert Castle Valley Rd to reach Lambert Tower. Make sure to check the NJ Transit schedule as buses may not run frequently.

If you are staying in the vicinity of Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, you can walk to Lambert Tower. From the park, head northwest on McBride Ave, then take a right onto W Broadway and continue until you reach NJ-20 W. Follow NJ-20 W to Garret Mountain Reservation, which will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as this route can be hilly.
