    From Paterson, head to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. You can take the NJ Transit #190 bus towards New York Port Authority. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes, and get off at the Newark Penn Station stop. From there, transfer to the NJ Transit #62 bus towards Newark Broad Street Station and travel for about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop for 1 Center St. The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) will be just a short walk from the bus stop.

    Make your way to the Paterson Train Station located at 100 Market St, Paterson. Board a NJ Transit train on the North Jersey Coast Line or the Raritan Valley Line heading towards Newark Penn Station. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Newark Penn Station, exit the station and walk to the NJ Transit #62 bus stop. Board the bus towards Newark Broad Street Station and get off at the stop for 1 Center St. NJPAC will be a short walk from there.

    If you are already downtown Paterson, you can walk to the NJ Transit bus terminal at 100 Broadway. From there, take the NJ Transit #190 bus towards New York Port Authority. After about 20 minutes, get off at Newark Penn Station. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to NJPAC. Head northeast on Market St towards Raymond Blvd, then turn left onto Raymond Blvd and continue straight until you reach 1 Center St.
