Walking
If you're starting from Trenton's city center, head south towards State Street. Walk down State Street until you reach the Trenton Train Station. From there, take the NJ Transit train to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station. Once you arrive at 30th Street Station, exit the station and head towards Market Street. Catch the SEPTA train (Market-Frankford Line) towards Frankford Transportation Center and get off at the 69th Street Terminal. From there, transfer to the 10 or 15 bus towards Center City. Get off at 3rd Street and walk towards Elfreth's Alley, which is a short walk east from there. The museum is located at 126 Elfreth's Alley.

Starting from Trenton's city center, walk to the Trenton Train Station located on South Clinton Avenue. Purchase a ticket for a NJ Transit train heading to Philadelphia. Once you arrive at the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, exit and walk to the Market-Frankford Line subway entrance. Board the train going towards 69th Street and exit at the 2nd Street station. Once you are above ground, walk east towards Elfreth's Alley. The museum is located at 126 Elfreth's Alley, just a short walk away.
