If you're traveling by car, start from Santa Fe, NM, which is approximately 30 miles north of La Bajada Historical Marker. Take US-84 W/US-285 N from Santa Fe. After about 19 miles, merge onto I-25 S toward Albuquerque. Continue on I-25 S for about 10 miles, then take exit 276 for NM-16 toward Peña Blanca. Follow NM-16 S for about 2 miles until you reach the marker location at GPRC+GQ, Peña Blanca, NM 87052. There is a small parking area available by the marker.
