    If you are driving from any location in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, head southeast towards I-25. Take the exit for Raton, NM. Continue on I-25 until you reach Exit 451 for Raton. Merge onto US-87 S and follow the signs for Raton. Once you enter Raton, turn left onto S 2nd St. The Raton Downtown Historic District, located at 399-333 S 2nd St, will be on your right.
