From the Santa Fe Depot, you can take the NM Rail Runner Express to the Madrid Station. Board the train at the Santa Fe Depot located at 410 S Guadalupe St. Make sure to check the train schedule in advance. The journey to Madrid will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Madrid Station, it's a short walk to the museum. Exit the station, turn right onto NM-14, and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Railyard, where the museum is located at 2846 NM-14, Building #1.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike shops in Santa Fe. Head south on S Guadalupe St toward W Water St, then turn left onto W Water St. Continue straight until you reach Cerrillos Rd. Turn right onto Cerrillos Rd and follow it south until you reach NM-14. Turn left onto NM-14 and continue for about 16 miles until you reach Madrid. Look for signage directing you to the Railyard, where the museum is located at 2846 NM-14, Building #1.
