If you're driving from Santa Fe, head south on NM-14 (Turquoise Trail) for about 20 miles. As you approach Los Cerrillos, look for Co Rd 59 on your left. Turn onto Co Rd 59 and follow it for about 2 miles. The entrance to Cerrillos Hills State Park will be on your right. There is no entrance fee required to access the park.

To reach Cerrillos Hills State Park using public transportation, take the NM Rail Runner Express from Albuquerque or Santa Fe to the Cerrillos Station. From the station, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to cover the approximately 2-mile distance to the park entrance on Co Rd 59, as public transit does not directly serve this area. Check the Rail Runner schedule for the latest times and fares.
