    From Washington Park, head east towards Madison Avenue. You can enter the park from any point, but the closest exit to downtown is through the main entrance at the corner of Madison Avenue and South Pearl Street. Once you exit the park, turn left on Madison Avenue and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Washington Avenue. Continue straight onto Washington Avenue.

    Alternatively, if you prefer to use public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop on Madison Avenue (around the corner from the park). You can catch the CDTA Bus Route 12 (Albany - East Greenbush) or Route 1 (Albany - Troy) which will take you directly into downtown Albany. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, and the fare is $1.75 for a single ride, payable in cash or via the CDTA app.
