Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Elmwood Village, head south on Elmwood Avenue toward the intersection with Forest Avenue. Turn right onto Forest Avenue and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Delaware Avenue. Turn left onto Delaware Avenue and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the signs leading to the waterfront. As you approach the waterfront, you will arrive at Canalside, located at 44 Prime St, Buffalo, NY 14202.

• Public Transit - Bus

  Start at Elmwood Village by finding the nearest bus stop along Elmwood Avenue. Take the NFTA Metro Bus #20 (Elmwood Avenue) towards the downtown area. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop near Main St & Exchange St. From there, walk south on Main Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Canalside at 44 Prime St. Please note that a one-way bus fare is $2.00.

• Biking

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing stations in Elmwood Village. Head south on Elmwood Avenue, then turn onto Forest Avenue. Continue to Delaware Avenue and take a left. Follow Delaware Avenue until you reach the waterfront area. Canalside is located at 44 Prime St. Make sure to follow bike lanes where available, and remember to wear a helmet. Bike rentals typically cost around $8 for a single hour.
