Walking
From the Hudson Amtrak Station, exit the station and head south on Station Hill. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 9. Turn left onto Route 9 and walk along the sidewalk. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the Hudson River waterfront. Follow the waterfront path north until you reach the intersection with 2nd Street, then turn left onto 2nd Street. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 23. From here, you can catch a bus or continue walking. If opting for the bus, look for the bus stop on Route 23 that heads toward the Ashokan Reservoir area.

From downtown Hudson, head to the nearest bus stop on Route 23. You can catch the bus that heads towards the Ashokan Reservoir. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the exact times as they may vary. The bus will take you directly toward the reservoir area. Once you reach the Ashokan Reservoir stop, follow the signs or ask the bus driver for directions to the reservoir site.
